SeniorAge Grand Reopening Celebrations Begin May 3 Join Sue in celebrating the re-opening of our Senior Activity Centers. Appointments will also resume for serv...ice from our Fort Street location in Springfield. (Masks and safe social distance will be practiced for the safety of all.) Our centers will offer activities only, at first. Join in a game of cards, pool, or Bingo, or just come reunite with long-lost friends. We’ll also keep serving our curbside meals to-go. Be sure to check with your local center about their specific reopening schedule. Some have unique situations that require abbreviated hours or delayed openings. Welcome back.

Families are the primary source of support for older adults and people with disabilities in the U.S. Many caregivers work and also provide care, experiencing c...onflicts between competing responsibilities. Research indicates caregiving also takes a significant emotional, physical, and financial toll. With nearly half of all caregivers over age 50, many are vulnerable to a decline in their own health. Studies show that coordinated support services can reduce caregiver depression, anxiety, and stress, and enable them to provide care longer, which avoids or delays the need for costly institutional care. SeniorAge can help. 417-862-0762 See more
