Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream for a country free of racism and hate has inspired generations of Americans. It’s on each of us to continue his fight and create an equal, just America for generations to come. #MLKDay

"On March 16, the Supreme Court of Missouri issued an order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other directives, the order suspends all in-person proceedings in all state courts through April 3." Give us a call and we can schedule appointments several weeks in advance. We are still here to help you with all of your personal injury questions during this time. Stay well!

I’ve recently completed Mediation Training for both general civil cases and for Family Law cases. I have applied to the Missouri Bar to be included in the appro...ved Rule 17 list of qualified neutrals. I will be offering mediation services at the office in Farmington, Missouri and elsewhere as requested. What is mediation? Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution between two or more parties. The mediator - or neutral - assists the parties in trying to reach a negotiated settlement. The mediator doesn’t decide cases as a judge would do. Rather, the mediator attempts to facilitate communication between the parties to allow them to reach an agreement. It is a fascinating process and often serves as a cost-effective method to avoid expensive and contentious trials. This will be in addition to my regular law practice representing people in personal injury cases and probate cases. I will post more on this, but if I can help you and your attorney with the mediation process, please give me a call at (573) 546-7133 or 573-760-8810.
