UPDATE 6/15/21: Thibaut Point ramp will open Wednesday morning. Roadways and parking lots adjacent to East Bledsoe Ferry ramp will be closed to allow for chip &... seal beginning Thursday morning. The ramp will open Friday morning with parking in the overflow gravel lot to allow contractors to reset curb stops. UPDATE 6/12/21: Shawnee Bend ramp opened this morning, equipment was moved to Bledsoe Ferry East and work will start there Monday morning, areas will be closed for use and sections of road will be closed, access to the live channel will remain open. Thibaut Point ramp will close Monday night for road work following Bledsoe Ferry East work. UPDATE 6/10/21: Shawnee Bend ramp is scheduled now to open Saturday morning June 12. Delays in material have caused the delay. Equipment will be moved to the Bledsoe Ferry East boat ramp area but the ramp will not close until Sunday evening June 13. Adjacent parking lots and roads in Bledsoe Ferry East will be affected and closed for the road work to be completed. Thibaut Point ramp will follow, and additional updates will be made on dates and times of closures. UPDATE:: We hope to reopen Shawnee Bend ramp by Friday June 11. Bledsoe Ferry ramp roadwork is on track to be completed on Friday with reopening on Saturday. WEATHER PERMITTING, contract road work is scheduled to begin on Monday June 7 at Shawnee Bend ramp. The ramp will be closed on Sunday night for this work, and it is anticipated that this project will take 3 days to complete. The road contractors will then move on to East Bledsoe Ferry ramp. Thibaut Point ramp will possibly follow after Bledsoe. Please keep these closures in mind and plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience while we complete these improvements.
