Join us tomorrow at 7 am & 5:30 pm for our Ash Wednesday services. This year we will also be keeping our Sanctuary open between the morning and evening services, from 8 am - 6 pm, for anyone to stop in for a time of prayer, worship, and meditation. During this time, there will be designated, self-guided meditation stations throughout the Sanctuary along with pastors available to impose the ashes on your forehead and pray with you. Children are welcome to join as well!

Join us for Pursuit to night at 6:30 pm at Redeemer Midtown. We will be talking about what we need to value and pursue as the people of God to be resilient and faithful disciples in the midst of uncertainty. We’ll talk about the value of the gathering of the saints on Sunday mornings. What does God invite us into? What happens when we gather? And what happens when we don’t gather with other saints to sing the songs, pray the prayers, and hear the word of God proclaimed over us? We hope you'll join us!

We desire to see God move to build up, encourage, heal, and revive hearts during our Sunday gatherings - and this takes prayer! The prayer ministry at Redeemer leads the way in this. If you are on the prayer team at any of our congregations, or would like to be, join us for a Prayer Ministry Training on Sunday, 1/31, at 2 pm in Room 100. If you've ever been to a service at Redeemer, you have been served by the hundreds of volunteers that give of their time each week to facilitate our Sunday gatherings. Hospitality Teams (Coffee, Connections, Usher, Security) host quarterly volunteer trainings in order to help on board new volunteers to our Sunday ministry teams. These quarterly trainings provide vision and practical steps to prepare new volunteers to be an effective part of any of our Sunday teams. ... During this time we will be hearing more about Redeemer's vision for serving, team specific handbook guidelines, and providing hands on practical training for the Sunday ministry team you'll be joining. Affordable Christmas exists to provide families Christmas gifts for their children in a way that preserves dignity and promotes empowerment. Families will shop for brand-new gifts at a reduced cost, enjoy breakfast, and leave with gifts wrapped ready for Christmas morning on Saturday, 12/12. More than gifts, Affordable Christmas is one of our primary opportunities to foster community relationships throughout the neighborhoods of our city. It’s just one way ...that we’re working to see God glorified in Kansas City, and we need your help to make it happen! You can purchase and donate new, unwrapped toys for children ages birth to 17.
