King of Dirt Ray County

Need some input from our fans and racers. I’ve had a request to move the races to either Friday night or Sunday night to allow the fair to ad another event to the calendar. This is not set in stone at all, merely talks. How many racers and spectators would we lose moving nights or would this actually be a good thing. Drop your opinions below please.

So I’m a little slow at getting this post made but from all of us at KoD I want to say a huge huge THANK YOU!!!! Thank you so all the drivers and their crews that come out to our event. Thanks for enduring the overwhelming heat we always seem to have each year. Thanks for being good sports, for being safe, and for putting on one hell of a show! Thank you to the track and event crew. Thanks for sweating it out and busting your asses not only for the 15-16 hours on the day of t...he event but the months it took to get prepared for this awesome event. Thank you to the Ray County fair and the fairboard. Thanks for being a great host and huge supporter of this event. Thank you to all of our sponsors. Thanks for helping us fund our event to give our drivers bigger prizes and awesome trophies Special thanks to the Twyman family, the Dorton brothers, Chase Howe and Samantha Dawn for each and every year going above and beyond to promote and build this event both months before and months after our event. Last but absolutely not least I want to thank our families. Thank you to the families of everyone working the event for allowing us to steal your loved one away for a day. Thank you to the families of all the drivers for supporting each of them in doing something they love. Thank you to my family for being so understanding and supportive of my dream to make this event even greater than it already is.
