The Kitchen, Inc is honored to be a recipient of the "Change for Children" grant from the The Jeanette L. Musgrave Foundation. This grant will support an additional case manager for pregnant and parenting youth who use Rare Breed Youth Services. The case manager will support and further develop resources and connections to community services, as well as support all youth within the outreach center on a daily basis. Rare Breed focuses on supporting youth to end the cycle of p...overty and homelessness. Further supporting pregnant and parenting youth not only helps youth break those cycles but also puts their young children on a path to never begin those cycles. In 2020, Rare Breed served 44 parenting youth households with a total of 61 children of at-risk youth. This year, Rare Breed is currently serving 21 pregnant and parenting youth. Thank you Musgrave Foundation and Community Foundation of the Ozarks! #endinghomelessness #bettertogether@
