The Randolph’s have been experiencing a trying time the past two weeks. Liz was experiencing neck and right arm pain that got really bad on Thursday, August 13, while we were on vacation. She gave me Clara because she was in pain and afraid of dropping her. Although Liz had been feeling pain above her fibromyalgia pain in her neck, the intense pain came on suddenly. We drove home Friday and her pain worsened. Saturday was worse and we went to the ER. They misdiagnosed her wit...h muscle spasms, prescribed muscle relaxers and pain meds and we were back in the ER on Monday. Her pain was way off the charts with numbness and extreme weakness in her right arm. She was in bed all day, pain meds did not help, could not even sit up or eat. We demanded imaging. The MRI showed a severely herniated disc at C5-C6. She got a neurosurgery appointment 10 days later. Pain kept getting worse so we were back in the ER on Wednesday. Neurosurgeon was notified, squeezed her in on Thursday for an evaluation and scheduled surgery for Friday (August 21). She is home recovering. Off the chart pain was replaced by typical post-op pain which is still a 7/10. She is so much better but still has some pain in her neck and right arm with residual numbness. We covet your prayers. I made it home yesterday (Friday). After the bus was repaired Wednesday, I drove until 10:30pm to southern Georgia. I got up early Thursday morning to get the bus to the shipper at Riviera Beach, FL before they closed at 4:30. The bus ran great and I arrived at 3:30 and got the bus registered before they closed. I got a hotel and flew home Friday afternoon. The bus is scheduled to ship to Haiti in 2-4 weeks. Thank you for your support and prayers, Tim
Final repairs on the bus were completed yesterday (Wednesday) morning and I was on the road by noon. I drove all day and stopped in southern Georgia at 10:30 pm. I was up this morning at 5:00am and on the road by 6:09. The bus is driving great. I am writing to you from the Florida welcome center. Hope to deliver the bus today before the shipper closes and fly home tonight. If not, deliver Friday morning and fly home in the afternoon. Thank you for your prayers. All for Him - Tim
At mid-day the International Dealership finished replacing the turbo on the bus and I am back on the road. Hoping to get the bus to our Florida shipper before they close tomorrow (Thursday). Please pray for alertness and safety. All for Him, Tim
I, like you, have been home bound through the COVID-19 quarantine. However, I have been hard at work with RWM. The bus has been ready to ship for weeks and now is the time to get it to Florida to be shipped to Haiti. The bus is filled with 475 boxes of medical supplies and I left on Saturday (8/1) for a two day drive to Florida and a one day flight home. You know what they say about great plans. Unfortunately, I experienced some mechanical issues and write you from a hotel near Nashville awaiting the mechanic shop to open Monday morning. Please pray the repairs do not take too long and I can finish my trip very soon. Tim
