Attention Rambling Acres is not closing down.. We are making changes with the Grooming department only. The boarding department is still the same.... Changes are. We no longer groom dogs larger then a Shih Tu , Min Schnauzer and all Terriers wire coated with exception of Airedales . So basically the size limit is around 20 pounds.

Announcement.. When it Rains it Pours. Right now our CenturyLink message service is not working so we can not receive messages and on top of it due to the alert CenturyLink puts on your phone a dial tone to alert messages but this makes it so our credit card machine does not work. So we also at this time can not take on credit cards. Another serious issue is we no longer have any groomers. After having my knee replaced, while recovery I have no idea what dark shadow went thr...ough my business but for one reason or another I am the last groomer standing. So for this we no longer groom any dogs bigger then a shih tzu. I still have rotor cuff issues and working in pain and further injuring myself is sadly something I can no longer do. So I will only be doing a few very small dogs and or cats a day and all other clients will need to find a new groomer. Dirty dog, bath bows and biscuits are both taking on new clients if anyone knows of a skilled groomer taking on clients with larger to medium size dogs I will gladly add them to the list. It kills me many of my long time clients I have to tell I can no longer groom their dogs.. But we are in different times and finding reliable help is just no longer an easy task. We are still running our state of the art boarding facility which seems to book up fast so there are no changes for boarding

Announcement to our faithful clients! We are no longer taking in any new large breeds. We will continue to take in small dogs. If you have not groomed with us in the last 5 months and have a large breed we will not be taking you in. If your dog gets groomed only in the summer and you have a large breed we will not be taking you in. We will only keep large breed dogs already being groomed by us who have not no called and no showed appoints and who are faithful and come in reg...ular or board with us. Other wise we are sorry we will suggest you to other shops. We need to do this to be able to provide safe and beautiful work. We will continue taking small dogs until we fill our quota and will remove habitual no call no show clients who shop hop around. This was you will get the award winning grooming that we are capable of providing. We are very sorry for any inconvenience. The only way we will be opening up new clients for large breeds if if we obtain an additional groomer willing to groom big dogs. Otherwise this will be the new rules indefinitely. Also this is Ginger I am slowly getting back to work after knee replacement surgery. for all my special small breed dogs who like only my grooming :D I thank you for being patient.

Due to the ever rising issue with covid which is hitting our area harder then it has to date. We are putting in precautions. Noone will be permitted inside the facility all employees will be monitored for corona . Stay in your car and you must have a mask on , If you do not we will put a crate outside ( only if your dog is not a flight risk) and you can put your dog in it take your collars and leashes. We will not permit them inside either we have slip leads. ... If you do not have a mask and do not think your dog is safe going into a crate and coming out then we suggest you go somewhere and get a mask . If you do have a mask We ask you to take your dogs collar and harness off we will use a slip lead to move your pup inside. We will call people once your dogs are finished we will be limiting numbers to a lower amount. If you have been tested positive for covid or anyone in your houses hold tested positive and you are still shedding the disease we ask you to wait to have your dog groomed at a later time. Thank you very much this is for a short time until covid is under control in our area.

Grooming competitions are another way for Pet Groomers to hone their skills, get advice from the top groomers in the world, and be judged by the top groomers in the grooming industry. It connects us and makes us better at our skill. Which also proves our passion in what we do. A groomer who seeks more is a groomer with the passions to be more than just that person with a job but a real professional mwhich is a rarity in the industry. Brad Romine at Rambling acres is one of those groomers. He not only competed but also won first place in his class. Which is an honor. He won his division in the world Pet Assocation grooming contest with his fine model ozzie the Brussells Griffon . Congradualtions Brad
