Come grow with us at R Veterinary. We are hiring a full time Experienced Veterinary Nurse. We are currently looking for a friendly, hard-working, and dependable person to join our patient care team. You must enjoy a fast paced work environment, be able to work in a team setting, have a passion for patient care and client education. Your attitude, tenacity and integrity are paramount. Experienced Veterinary Nurse Job Requirements: -Must have basic computer knowledge and typi...ng skills. -Must be able to maintain patient records. This includes but isn’t limited to patient history, patient vitals, diagnostics, treatments, and client education. -Must have excellent ability to communicate with clients in person as well as on the phone, through email, or text. -Experienced Veterinary Nurses also work together with other staff members to perform routine and deep cleaning of the hospital and kennels to ensure a healthy environment for our clients and patients. -Must be able to work 2 - 3 weekends per month and be reliable. -Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. -Experienced Veterinary Nurses will be expected to take radiographs (general and dental), place IV catheters, draw blood, run diagnostics, give injections, restrain dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, monitor patients under anesthesia for routine and emergency care.
