Quilted Square

As most of you understand, but life can throw us all some curve balls that we can't stop, at this point in time my curve ball has been thrown and has hit me with some pretty tough decisions that I had to make. They were not the ones I wanted to deal with or make at this time, but things will be fine. As most of you know I've been working out to Kraft Heinz since March on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Well, I need to share that things will be changing again come the 2n...d of September. Please stay tuned to my facebook page, as I will doing a liquidation sale sometime in Sept. as my hours will be changing. If you are doing the Hwy 36 Quilt Trail please keep in mind that my block is also available at Midwest Quilt Co. in Shelbina, for those coming from the east and at Rosie's Quilt Shop in Marceline, for those coming from the west primiarly on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in August, but then in September they should be available daily in those shop. Also August 13th and 14th we will be closed. Sorry if this caused a problem for you.

Please keep in mind that if your doing the Hwy 36 Quilt Trail 2018, that I will be closed all Fridays and Saturdays. For most of you know that I have accepted another job with KraftHeinz here in Kirksville, and work a 12-hour shift on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The shop will be closed those days, but the best thing is that if your doing the Hwy 36 Quilt Trail you make purchase a fabric kit and even get your free pattern at Rosie's in Marceline, if you coming from the west going east, and at Midwest Quilting in Shelbina, should you be coming from the east going west. I hope this is helpful for you. The kits/patterns will only be available on Fridays and Saturdays at these shops, the other days during the week the kits/patterns are available in my shop here in Kirksville. Pleaser remember that the fabric kits and free patterns will NOT be in the filing cabinet this weekend as I had several come up missing two weeks ago and I have decided to not to put them back out there for awhile. I'm sorry to have to do this, but if we can't play by the rules then we don't get to play at all! Hey just a short little message or all my facebook friends. I will be closing at 2 pm on Tuesday, 5/29, as I have a Dr. appointment. If your doing the Hwy 36 Quilt Trail today and only will I do this just one day, but the fabric kits and patterns will be in the bottom drawer of the file cabinet. They will becoming out at 5 pm to night, and this is the only day theywill be there.

Okay, I'm pulling over my soap box and just stepped on it, I'm very unhappy right now!!! As most of you know is that I'm in this years Hwy 36 Quilt Trail that started back in April and goes till the end of September. Well, here is what has happened. I guess most people know that I have taken a second job that takes out of my store on Fri and Sat. of every week. Now I didn't take this job till after the passports were created and by then it was to late for me to withdraw from... it. So I have taken my free pattern and fabric kit to Rosie's in Marceline for those days, and on those days she will sell my kit and give out the free pattern on just those days, that would catch those that are coming from that direction. So how do I collect from those that either come from the other direction or even want to start here on those days? Well, I came up with a filing cabinet that is outside my front door, this way I will not miss anyone. Well, for the most part I thought that most quilters were pretty honest about something like this, BOY was I wrong. Why you ask? From April till this weekend I had been doing pretty good with this plan working, till Saturday, May 19th. I had 5 kits stolen from the drawer!!! I checked them on Friday night and things were fine, but when I checked on them on Saturday night 5 kits were gone and no funds left. I'm sorry but I was only trying to help people out and get them what they needed to finish they passports. Well, as of today for the coming Fridays and Saturdays they WILL NOT be available anymore! Not sure but this could change, but as for now sorry. The kits will only be available Mon. 10 am-to-3 pm, Tues. 11 am-to-5 pm, Wed, 11 am-to-5 pm, and Thurs. 11 am-to-5 pm, in my shop. Then Fridays and Saturdays they will only be available at Rosie's, no more honor sysotem. If yu can't get to or have ready been to Rosie's and still did not get my kit or pattern, then give me a call and I will send you them, but now keep in mind that this will make you not eliglbe for the grand prize, reason, we are not to send out any kits or patterns till after Oct. 1st, and at that piont they will cost you $5 for the pattern or $10 for the kit, plus shipping. I can't only say sorry, some people just don't know how to play by the rules so that others can play!!! I tried to give people the benefit of a doubt to make it right, but that didn't work! If you don't play by the rules then I can't play by the rules either. Sorry!!! I'm now getting out my soapbox!
