THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS MUCH OF THE LOWER MISSOURI VALLEY REGION. In summary: Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening across much of the lower Missouri Valley. There seems to be an ongoing basis of destabilization across central to southern Missouri. As we are watching on radar, the warm frontal zone near east/southeast of the St. Louis area might become the focus for strong to severe thunderstorms development late this afternoon and evening.
