This class is full. We added another class on the 25. Everyone has been asking for a local CCW course. Here it is! Only 10 spots remaining. This class will meet the requirements for a Missouri Conceal Carry permit from your local Sheriff. Cost of the class is $68/person and $120/related couple (spouses, parent/child, siblings) ... Classroom portion will be taught at the Maries County Sheriff’s Office beginning at 9:00 am on October 24. Course prerequisites are adults 19 years of age or older, must pass a back ground check, and a US citizen. Course requirements are to attend the 8 hour training block, provide a firearm you will conceal, 50 rounds of ammunition, and must demonstrate the ability to operate a semi automatic and revolver firearms and the understanding of Missouri Statutes pertaining to concealed carry permits, the use of force, and assaults. All course attendees must provide: - a concealable semiautomatic and revolver firearm or obtain a loaner firearm from the staff for a $10 fee. Loaner firearms are 9mm Glock semiautomatic and .38 Special revolvers. - 50 rounds of ammunition for both the semiautomatic and revolver (must provide 9mm & .38 special ammo if using a loaner or pay an additional $25 for ammunition provided by the Staff) - protective eyewear - hearing protection (prefer electronic so you can hear instructions) - holster for your firearms (holster provided for loaners) Attendees are expected to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activities. Water or soft drinks are recommended accessories as well. Class size is limited to 16 and there are only 6 spots left. ****TO REGISTER*** You can call 5736343483 to hold your spot.
