The Energy Power House (TM) concept joins the affordable, safe, and environmentally sound "Millennium House" concept of Oklahoma City, OK with appropriate, regi...onal renewable energy (e.g. using stainless steel shingles that double as solar panels) to build a safe, affordable home that also produces, for the home owner, an energy check each month from the energy grid companies for production of surplus electricity. Homes can provide free utilities for owners' micro-enterprise operations AND provide communities with educational and training opportunities in the burgeoning renewable energy field. Of course multiple homes and businesses built using this concept can also produce low-cost electricity for communities, especially rural, to use in luring businesses back into those areas by proving dependable, affordable electricity! The concrete homes have safe breathing environments, are not susceptible to bug damage (being made of mostly concrete poured within Styrofoam-structured walls, do not mold if they ever get flooded, etc., can withstand an F3 tornado with a "safe room" that is built to withstand an F5 tornado, like the tornado that destroyed a large portion of Joplin, MO just a few short years ago! Homes can be set up to provide heat / AC, power, etc. even during most power outages experienced by the energy grid companies! The Energy Power House turns home ownership into economic opportunity for forward-thinking homeowners and communities.
