Thank you to everyone who helped make last night possible every one of you who bought a ticket, our sponsors, PPA staff and teaching artists, our board, and most of all, the artists who gave so freely of themselves to share the best of them with you. We were devastated to end the event early due to technical difficulties, but overwhelmed by your understanding and support. The Live Chat was so fun, and our gratitude is immense. Your generosity helped us surpass our initial fundraising goal! More than 100 people from coast to coast tuned in, and the performances were fantastic. We will be sharing some of them with everyone soon. Fortunately, we prerecorded last night’s event, and you can view it here: vimeo.com/478742125. We cannot thank you enough for the positivity and support you showed PPA last night.

You’ve seen them take the stage as brilliant actors, but did you know several PPA participants are incredible visual artists as well? The piece below was drawn by Xavier (M. Campbell) at Northeast Correctional Center. This 11x14 print and several others from incarcerated artists are being raffled at our virtual event tomorrow! Register for a chance to win bit.ly/3eGM9KO

Bronson was a student at Hogan Street Regional Youth Center when he met PPA Teaching Artist, Michael Amoroso. The two practiced guitar consistently during Bronson's time at Hogan Street. After Bronson returned home, they began playing together professionally. There’s a preview of their story below. Be sure to tune in on November 12th to "Stories for the Small Screen," PPAs virtual fundraising event, for the premiere of the full film! Register PPA.givesmart.com
