Prairie Vegan Pies

Hello to all you new followers!I’ll say this first as I get asked, like, 20 times a day. YES, IT’S ALL VEGAN! I put VEGAN in the name of my biz for a reason. If you have any question this is a post you should read. Second, with the @tgfarmersmarket so successful for us means when one market ends I immediately start prepping for the next one. For a month I’ve worked an average 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Which is great, thank you! But this isn’t sustainable as I’m always ex...hausted. So during market season we’ve made some changes to online ordering from my website. To get our treats the best way is at the Tuesday or Saturday Tower Grove markets, @luluslocaleatery or cookies from @pizzaheadstl. We are now closed for pick up on Sundays, so I can at least attempt to rest on Saturday after the market. And we are limiting the number of orders we take depending on our schedule. So if you don’t see your preferred pick up date available it’s most likely full. We’ve also taken donuts off the online menu.We make so many donuts for the markets that it’s difficult to make any more. So if you have your heart set on donuts I suggest getting to the market early. And Tuesday markets aren’t nearly as crazy so that’s your best chance. I also seem to get an influx of DMs or comments at my busiest time (the day before the market). PLEASE check the FAQs on my site prairieveganpies.com, and read the most recent posts/stories on the socials. Otherwise know that it may now take me a couple days to get back to you. With our schedule so hectic these days I don’t think I can post the menu in advance, but I’ll be sure to tell you what we’ll have as much as possible. Several of you expressed that you missed out on the Cookie Pie and Veggie Pot Pies as they sold out quick on Saturday.I will have more tomorrow @tgfarmersmarket! Tuesday evening markets aren’t nearly as crazy so you have a better chance of snagging one. by @land_of_10k_hotdishes I will also have slices of S’mores Pie and I’m working on getting some small Lemon Meringue Pies made. Thanksgiving orders are open and orders have already started coming in!Go to prairieveganpies.com. The deadline to order is November 18th. Pick up is Tuesday, November 24th 11am-6pm. When people ask what’s my favorite pie it almost feels like asking me my favorite child.But then I remember the Chocolate Pecan. It’s my favorite! It’s like a caramel pecan brownie in a pie crust. I’m back home! Working on the Thanksgiving menu that will be up on the website, prairieveganpies.com, before I go to bed tonight.I can’t decide between Dutch Apple and Caramel Apple pie, so they’ll both be on there! Pictured is the small caramel apple. And yes! Because we may be having a quarantine Thanksgiving I’ll be offering small pies of the popular flavors. Hey friends!I’m not sure how much more clear I can be, but holiday items are for holiday pick up. One day only. So Halloween items are only for Halloween pick up. I can’t, say, make you one Gooey Butter bar. They are made in batches. While everything I bake is small-batch made, I obviously can’t make one brownie. Hopefully one day I have enough customers here to offer it, but for now small pies and items will be for pick up events on one day only. If you’d like to order from... the regular menu just scroll down on the homepage of my website and the list of items and order instructions are there, prairieveganpies.com. That said you have until Sunday to order your Halloween treats! After that the website will change for Thanksgiving orders. Then send me an email at [email protected] to discuss pick up etc. I will not be able to accept orders for pick up on days I’m busy prepping and baking for the holidays.
