Putting flags on the veterans graves

For all that may be interested we will be meeting at 9:00 at the American Legion hall in Union to go put flags on the veterans graves on Saturday , bring the kids and grandkids and teach them what they day is all about.

Please join us on Memorial Day, May 31st to honor our fallen service members.

If a juicy steak sounds good, then make a reservation for April 24th at the Shipyards Bar! From 5:00 - 7:00, we will be serving a Ribeye steak, baked potato and salad for $14. Pre-orders only by April 18th. Call 636-583-5825 or stop by the bar to pre-order.

Just a reminder to get your orders in for the New Year's Day Steak and Bloody Mary breakfast by the end of the day today! Carryouts will be available.

Say GOODBYE and good riddance to 2020 in style! On New Years Day, come to the American Legion for a Steak and Bloody Mary Breakfast. $12 will get you your first Bloody Mary or Mimosa, a grilled rib eye steak (or bacon), hash browns, your choice of scrambled or fried eggs, biscuits and gravy. Serving from 10:00 am with carry-outs available. This year we will be requiring pre-orders by Sunday, December 27th so we know how many steaks to order. Call the Shipyards Bar at 636-583-5825 or stop in the bar to make a reservation. There will also be ham and beans and a pot of Texas style black eyed peas for luck in the New Year at 5:00.

At the Home Association Meeting last night, it was decided to cancel the Annual Post 297 Christmas dinner on December 16th. We have decided to have the New Year's Day Steak and Bloody Mary Breakfast. More details on that soon. Post 297 would like to wish everyone a very merry and safe Christmas and a Happy New Year!
