Hi everyone, This is the 5th year that we are hoping to provide Christmas gifts for children in Pacux Guatemala. Because of Covid, we can’t ship the Christmas gift bags that we normally make. Instead, we’re collecting money and Mary, the missionary in Guatemala, is going to assemble gift boxes with the help of her youth group and local village leaders. Each box will have a hygiene kit, school supplies, a small toy, and a flyer with the Gospel message. A team of volunteers fro...m a church in Guatemala City have agreed to come help distribute the gifts. They’re planning to also have some songs and skits with the message that Jesus is the real gift. These boxes the kids receive are just a small sign that others give because of His love. So far we have 651 children sponsored. We’re hoping to collect enough money to sponsor 1,000. The first priority is Pacux. With more gifts we’ll reach out to Rio Negro, Chitucan, La Colonia, and some other smaller local villages. Most of these kids receive no other gift the entire year.
