Dear Piccione Friends and Family, When Piccione Pastry opened almost 7 years ago, we wanted to introduce authentic Italian pastries to St. Louis. The owner, Richard Nix Jr. drew his inspiration from his grandmother, Grace Viviano Piccione and the Piccione family history in St. Louis. Piccione means pigeon in Italian, and it’s not only a salute to Richard’s family, but more importantly his Italian heritage. We’ve loved every minute in the Delmar Loop celebrating and enjoyin...g Italian pastries with you and our amazing staff. While we’re closing the doors to our storefront, we’re opening them to new opportunities. The Piccione brand will live on Butler's Boardroom, which specializes in drop off catering and customers can order several of their favorite Piccione signature pastries like our cannoli, tricolor cookies and black & whites. We’re also focusing on our new venue 18Rails at City Foundry STL which will open late 2020. Thank you all for the amazing memories and your continued support!
