Phlarp

Recently the question of alcohol was brought up as to weather it is allowed or not. Currently we DO NOT allow alcohol at Phlarp. Aside from several reason that are beyond our control one of the main issues with alcohol is our combat system. Under the influence of mind altering things such as Alcohol we feel our combat system can become unnecessarily dangerous and therefor we do not allow our players to participate under its influence. As it is there are certain risks involved in this type of game and we feel these substances can only work to compound those problems. We appreciate everyone's continued support and hope that you can all still enjoy our game. Thanks for everything, hope to see you out there!

We did, in fact, level up. Thanks to the efforts of the phlarpers whom have bought currency in the past few weeks we have been able to print copper, silver (worth 10 coppers), and gold (worth 100 coppers) for purchase at .25 cents a piece. All profits from currency are returned into the currency dept. to fund expanding the economy within our game (props for the general store goods, props for the bounty system, special in-game events) ie. Anything that expands what our players can spend thier currency on! Thank you all for the support!

The moon glinted bright, off of their weapons held high, I saw Goblins and orcs and ogres, oh my! When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a contingent of Heroes, armed at my rear. A small halfling rouge, so lively and quick, he could release several daggers, with just a flick; He could vanish from sight, and move very quietly, He could reappear behind them, dispatching them violently. An elven ranger, with a bow made of yew, a wolf at her side, looking for goblins to chew She drew her bow, with a gleam in her eye, her arrow was notched, these goblins must die A human holy priest, was blessing his mace, Imbuing it with the power, to smash ogre face. He could do more than that, if one of us dies Just buy him some time and our ally he’ll rise. A dwarven paladin; A dark knight, here for the dead to tear out their skeletons in a burst of red. She’ll raise an army; an army of her own, lumbering skeletons who shuffle and moan. A human wizard with hidden spells and magic. This army attacking was, for them, quite tragic. He could charm them, snare them, and enflame them all Or alter the battlefield with an invisible wall. A human warrior, parted the crowd, The rest of the heroes, all stopped and bowed. It would be a bloody and dangerous siege, But I was encouraged to notice that it was my liege. Our band of heroes, seems quite strong, But without your help, we might not last long. This weekend begins our Campaign cards quests. We have distributed hundreds of the quest cards into the campaign area for players to now use. Be careful though, once you have picked up the card you must play it and not all of them are nice. For quests related to these cards, talk to Gunther or the Old Guard in game. Also there has been rumors of more orcs and goblins in the area so watch for them if your out there doing these quests. Hope to see you all this weekend!
