MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN Penmac Staffing is now seeking Manufacturing Technicians for a global nutrition product manufacturer. Three shifts available... 1st shift - 5:30am-2:00pm $13.40/hr 2nd shift - 1:30pm-10:00pm $13.90/hr 3rd shift - 9:30pm-6:00am $14.40/hr $500 Sign-on bonus (paid out at $100 per month for the first 5 months) 3rd shift workers are eligible for an additional bonus! Requirements * -Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. * -High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required * -Previous manufacturing experience or forklift experience. * -Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends, when needed. Drug Screen & Criminal Background Check REQUIRED for employment Job Responsibilities: * -Responsible for the preparation, production and packaging of blend material. * -Maintain blend equipment and warehouse cleanliness. * -Screen, blend and package a variety of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, including those which are allergenic. * -Perform proper cleaning, blending, packaging and material inspection of the warehouse, manufacturing equipment, including routine maintenance of equipment, per Standard Operating Procedures. * -Physically load/unload boxes and drums of material onto/from transportation vehicles. * -Perform retention sampling on products in sterile conditions. * -Follow company safety procedures and consistently maintain a sanitary work environment. * -Must have proper and safe use of pallet jacks and forklifts when moving material in/out of blending rooms and when loading/unloading the mezzanines. * -Must be able to lift 55lbs continuously, be able to work with amino acids, vitamins and fine chemicals in powder and liquid form as well as allergen products. * -Clear written/verbal communication skills. * -Ability to follow directions and S.O.P.s. Be able to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times. * -Ability to work in fast-paced deadline orientated environment. Penmac is hiring for several Order Selectors to work at a large food distribution warehouse in Springfield. This is a temporary assignment starting 10/01/20 and lasting through December. There could be opportunities for hire for good workers. The schedule is 5:00am-done. Typically, 10 hour shifts but could work OT. Saturday’s are required.
