Due to the rainy weather forecast and the wet field conditions, Little Soccer Kickers has been cancelled for tonight, September 10th. We will continue on with the soccer program next Thursday, September 17th and finish on Thursday, September 24th with a scrimmage game.

If you're ordering for Saturday, choose "schedule for later" at checkout and pick Saturday's date. We will also be attending the Peculiar Farmers and Artist Market this coming Wednesday afternoon! Following the advisement of the Missouri COVID Help line and the Cass County Public Health Department, we will be closing the playgrounds and they will remain closed until further notice. We encourage you all to get outside in other ways including trails, sidewalks and green space as long as you maintain social distance (6 feet from others that do not live in your home) and personal hygiene guidelines outlined by the CDC. Congratulations to the Peculiar Parks Maintenance Staff! Randy and Sean competed in the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association Maintenance Rodeo today in Sedalia, MO. They both did an outstanding job in all of the competitions with Sean taking home 1st place in the Skid Loader/Bobcat course.

Congratulations to the Peculiar Panther Flag Football Team! The Panthers earned 1st place in the South Metro 3rd/4th grade Flag Football Tournament on Tuesday, October 22nd.

Congratulations to the Peculiar Pandas U12 Soccer team for winning the South Metro Soccer Tournament this past Saturday.

Thank you to our local Scouts for lowering the City of Peculiar Flags yesterday in honor of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.

3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade flag football games scheduled for tonight at Raisbeck Park have been cancelled due to the heavy storm forecast. Games will be rescheduled for next week.

Due to the approaching storms the Flag Football games and Little Soccer Kickers that were scheduled at Raisbeck Park have been cancelled for Thursday, September 12th.
