Regarding the Sunset Village fire in St. Robert this past week: 45 people were left homeless, and if you have driven by the scene, it is truly a sad sight. CRITICAL UPDATE St. Robert Electric Customers Power Supply Update DATE: February 16, 2021 11am RE: CRITICAL UPDATE Grid Reliability at stake; Conserve I...mmediately Southwest Power Pool issued a critical Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) Level 3 this morning. This impacts their entire 14-state grid balancing authority area. This begins their process of controlled interruptions of electric service throughout their network. Energy conservation is the most important thing that can be done at this moment to avoid peak usage. We expect this situation for the next few hours with the other period of concern being the evening peak energy hours.
