This week’s weather is a gift, and we hope to see you on our Pat-io! We open at 4pm and will keep the fire pit going... As we appreciate these sunny days, we know colder weather is coming soon. We wanted to let all our friends and neighbors know we’ve made the difficult decision to not reopen for indoor dining this winter. It is clear to us that the pandemic is poised to once again surge in a way even more dangerous than in the spring. With our small dining area, we feel ther...e is no way we can offer indoor service in a way that will be safe for our guests and staff. Our Pat-io will still open up on days when the weather is nice, into December. Needless to say, we hope to see you on those days and we really hope to see you this week! We considered putting up a heated tent on our lawn, but decided against it as we aren’t sure an enclosed tent is any safer than indoor dining. Trust us, we’d LOVE nothing more than to keep our outdoor dining open all winter long, but we just don’t think we can make it work with our layout. Follow us on social to receive notifications about future Pat-io pop-ups as weather permits. We will also keep offering curbside pickup and delivery through UberEats through the winter! We were so thrilled to be recognized by RFT Readers last month as having one of the best takeout programs in St. Louis, and we hope more of you keep supporting us this way! Stay tuned, we’ll keep rolling out more fun stuff from our kitchen and bar to keep you and your family happy through the cold months! We can’t help but state how profoundly disappointed we are to be in this moment. We have been completely let down by state and federal leaders in responding to this pandemic, and small businesses and workers continue to suffer - now for nine long months - as a consequence. Something must be done soon, or we fear this will be a very difficult winter for many. State and local leaders need to put in place better regulations that limit the spread of the virus (and we all need to heed them). Congress needs to pass a bill that provides resources for struggling businesses, and stimulus for people struggling to make ends meet. For our part, we are thinking of ways we can help get food to those most in need during the holiday season ahead more on that soon! With uncertainty ahead, we’ll be savoring these remaining beautiful days of fall! You must be willing to step in anywhere as needed, from prep to dishes to cleaning. Weekend and evening availability is required. Our historic neighborhood restaurant and event space has been around for more than 75 years. We are famous for fried chicken, which we bread to order. All of our recipes are prepared... fresh, so prep is mandatory for all team members. Experience preparing deep-fried items, knowing burger temps, and juggling many tickets at once is a huge plus. You will be expected to prepare high-volume orders in the fryer and on the grill. We also provide in-house catering for our event space, so event experience is also a huge plus.
