NAP's educational offerings are developed in accordance with the NAP Body of Knowledge (BOK), a comprehensive document outlining eight categories, or domains, of knowledge, skills, and practical applications that individuals must know and demonstrate in parliamentary procedure. The BOK is designed to assist individuals in developing educational programs that provide the democratic processes and meets the principles of protection for the majority, the minority, individual members, and absentees both individually and collectively. The new RP Credentialing System is designed to assess the candidate in small incremental Steps with multiple Parts. The result is that it is very different from the legacy system. There is new terminology and new technology that will be explained in detail. The complexity that this approach makes necessary can be confusing to the new candidate.
