Saturday I delivered a Rocky Patel, 4-string, Cigar Box Bass Guitar to its new owner. Thanks to my Favorite Guitar parts supplier (#mgbguitars) It had a Fender neck with vintage tuners. It sported a chrome control plate with pearl topped volume and tone knobs, a selector switch allowing use of one or both brass covered flat pickups. Chrome corners all around with the owner's USAF Retired rank insignia along with a barber pole (he now owns a Barbershop) mounted on the box and on the headstock. It also had a wooden, laser cut Fleur De Lis mounted in the body to represent his Louisiana upbringing and St. Louis home. Today I finished another commission build. It's decked out in high quality components from my favorite guitar parts supplier #mgbguitars.
