Painted Lady Tattoo

We are open for appointments only. When you come in you will need a mask. You will be required to wear one over your nose and mouth while inside. We are trying to do most consultations over the phone. Please send your pictures and descriptions in a private message on Facebook then you will need to call. That way I can look them up and help match you with the artist best for your project. We have been very busy without even announcing us reopening. (We wanted to allow existing... customers to reschedule before we took new appointments.) So if you don’t get through please don’t leave a voicemail but try back a little while later. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. You can also text the shop number and I will text you when you are able to call. (Unless I get distracted then I will forget so it’s best to try again) Be patient with us please! You will need to use the hand sanitizer station upon entry. We ask only the person getting tattooed come to the appointment unless approved beforehand. I have limited masks and I really can’t afford to give onlookers free stuff. Our hours are changing also. We will be open Wednesday through Saturday and the first Tuesday of the month. We will be open from 11-am to 8pm. The new hours go into effect June 1st. We made some changes to our sessions also. We look foreword to seeing all of your smiling faces (even if they are covered)! Cynthia, Jen and Camdyn are back at it. We are not sure when Carmen is coming back but we will let you know.

All nonessential businesses in the greater Kansas City area have been asked to close effective Tuesday until April 24th as part of the Stay at home order, many of our customers come from those 4 affected counties so it would be a big disruption to our daily operations anyway. We have made great efforts to keep our customers and friends safe. We have stayed open for as long as we could. We have always put our customers needs first and we have still suspended all new appoint...ments so that anyone disrupted by us closing will have the first available access to new schedules. We will be spending the upcoming time strengthening some our our artwork and making sure we are inspired when we return. We truly love what we do and the people who we serve. We are a family shop and consider our customers as an extension of that. Please take care of the ones closest to you. Put your trust in all the essential workers who must soldier on to make sure that the things we depend on continue to happen. Small businesses and nonessential employees will be hit the hardest but when this blows over we will be here as a place to laugh, relax and feel human again. We will be sending text messages to everyone in our appointment books. Please keep track of our Facebook page for updates on when we will be able to reopen. Also when we have gotten the people affected by this rescheduled we will open up appointments for everyone else. Ok after much deliberation and research we will still be taking appointments but there are important policy changes that we are adhering to until further notice. All appointments are at the discretion of each individual artist. We have been hit with new child care challenges etc. so we will accommodate those that we can * Only those with appointments will be allowed into the shop. Please leave friends, spectators, children etc at home. (If we do that we can stay below the r...ecommended groups of 10 people or less per the CDC) * If you are sneezing, coughing, feel unwell, running a fever then please stay home. * We will have simple cloth masks available to customers to wear as available if they would like. We will wash them after they are used. * Consultations will still be done via phone yet booking appointments may be limited and again are at each artists discretion * If you are unable to come to your appointment please let us know. * We assume everyone has invisible bacteria and viruses anyway and we have always maintained an extreme level of cleanliness between customers using hospital grade sterilization products and techniques as well as a myriad of disposable items. * Our hand sanitizer station will be placed near the front door so please use it as you enter * Again new appointments will be limited mostly to current projects and those who were disrupted by our difficulties getting supplies. We have what we need currently and will keep you all apprised if we run into future problems.

It is with deep sadness that we are suspending all appointment making until further notice. We are unable to get many of the cleaning supplies, sterilization supplies and soaps that we use to ensure the safest tattooing practices available. As you all know we are very dedicated to providing top notch care to all of our customers. Part of the reason we are not taking new appointments is because the people who are gonna have appointments canceled will be able to get the first c...hance at appointments when we return to normal business operations. Deposits will be applied to the new appointments. Please be patient as we plan on contacting all of you who have current appointments in the book. If there is questions about possible tattoos and estimates they will be answered when and if time permits. We are truly saddened because all of you are the reason we love going to work. Let’s all do our part to help get this virus behind us. If you are mad about us being forced to do this please remember we are all trapped in our homes with our children for the next several weeks . I assure you we would rather the engagement from our much more interesting (and housebroken) customers/friends. See more
