Some of my favorite people in the many (26) moves of my life were my new friends with Downs. I would come into a new school and sit with them. They were perfect in my eyes. Always a smile. Always a friend. It amazes me now to find out at 57 that I have ADHD and never knew. I always day dreamed and self medicated... after I became a christian, I thought those days I was racing around, that I had drank too much coffee. People say to me now that they knew but no one said anythin...g! They thought I knew! Ha! I have had a good life not knowing... They said it was mild exacerbqted by all the losses and refusal to grieve and lack of sleep. I believe that the horses I found and rode some wherever we went, were a blessing I had no idea of. Even though I was frustrated by so much of what I was doing and thinking. It makes sense now. Blessed by this story! Tracy See more
