We just ordered some new signs for the Haskins Ford, this will be an addition to what we already have posted. Hopefully this will help. In case you're wondering, you can't cross the Haskins Ford at this time due to HIGH WATER !!!

This is the typical crossing in Ozark County today. This picture was taken in the Thornfield area on County road 830. It will take us several days to get things half way back to normal, please be careful and don't take any side roads if at all possible.

Typical crossings in Ozark County this morning. These two crossings are on Little Creek in the Northwest part of the county around Foil. The crews are out, be patient it may take awhile to get the creek roads open. Remember, turn around don't drown !

The Haskins Ford and Locust road are going to be impassable for awhile along with many other crossings throughout the county. We plan on working on Locust this afternoon as soon as the water runs down a little to unplug the box and putting some rock on the north end. The Haskins Ford and Steel Tracks could be closed until Monday.

Maybe they won't steal these.

I just found out our fence post marking the hole in the slab at Haskins Ford and one of the road closed signs have been stolen. We won't get those replaced until Monday, so beware. The people that done this need to be stopped. We have several signs stolen every year, so please let us know when you see something suspicious. Call or text me Greg Donley, at 1-417-683-0607 or call the Sherrifs office at 417-679-4633.

As you can see the water is still flowing over the Haskins Ford. I can't give it a good look until the water goes down, in the meantime some fence post have been put up to mark the hole. Therefore I can not in good conscience give the geen light to cross at this time. Although, I did cross the Haskins Ford myself, so if you must cross, cross at your own risk. The Steel Tracks are now crossable, but not if you're pulling a trailer, because on the curved portion the inside of the curve is not as wide as it was. It's going to be awhile before we can make the necessary repairs on both crossings. It all depends on the water levels. Be careful folks

With rain in the forecast for tonight and the high water level of the creek the Haskins Ford and the Steel Tracks will remain closed until Thursday. I will then at that time reevaluate the crossings. Stay tuned.

Haskins Ford has to much water for us to take a good look and the Steel Tracks is washed out on the north end. Therefore both crossings remain closed. I will update you tomorrow on these two crossings.

This is why you don't attempt to pull a vehicle out of the creek while the water is rising. These photos were taken this morning on county road 950 first crossing on Little Creek north of Foil.

Gary Collins just told me that county road 314 will be closed at the Pine Creek Bridge for repairs beginning February 27th thru March the 13th.

Haskins Ford is still impassable and so is Steel Tracks. We are going to keep these crossings closed until at least Monday, then we will evaluate the crossings. We will post conditions at that time if possible.

Haskins Ford is still impassable at this time, I will check the crossing tomorrow. With more rain expected Friday, all crossings will rise rapidly. Stay aware of weather conditions.
