Dyanna shared this verse Wednesday night. It’s a wonderful verse to meditate on. Romans 15:13

1 Peter 5:10 "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." Father God,... Thank You for carrying us through this year. We've had ups and downs, in's and out's. We've been tossed around like sailors on a ship in 10ft. swells. Still, You have carried us. To You be the glory. May our heart's desire in 2021 to be "a man/woman after Your heart." We love You. In our Savior's Name, Amen Happy 2021 Church, Randy P.S. Won't see you Sunday. Taking my last vacation day. I'll be in K.C. helping kids paint their new home. S.S. is suspended for this upcoming weekend. We'll reconvene on Jan. 10. Normal services this weekend at 10:45.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. MATTHEW 10:30 Why do we put God in a box?... Why do we have no problem praying for God to heal a child’s cancer, but feel odd asking Him to fix our stuffy nose? Do we assume He’s too busy to deal with the little stuff, or are we limiting what He’s capable of and what He cares about? That one thing. I know I can’t talk to God about that! He’s probably sick and tired of me asking for help with that. He’s probably wondering why I haven’t licked it yet. Better wait until I get it straightened out. Plus, He’s got lots of kids to save from fires, persecuted Christians overseas to rescue, and calamities to keep calm. He doesn’t have the time or interest in whether I take the new job, buy that used car, or volunteer at my kid’s school. I can take care of this, and He can work on the important stuff. But what constitutes important to God? What if He enjoys when I ask Him to not let it rain on the day of my yard sale? What if He sees me as His child just as the Bible says, and because of that, He cares about every single aspect of my day? What if He wants me to ask so that He can answer? What if He likes giving me the desires of my heart and showing me how He can work out even the tiniest detail just for me? What if we realized when we limit our approach to God we’re really limiting God? He wants to love us, be with us, and be a part of everything we are a part of each day. He wants to walk hand in hand, hear every problem, and be the center of our life. He wants constant conversation and constant trust. Anything less, such as thinking some parts of our life don’t interest or involve Himthat’s simply putting God in a box. And that’s not where He belongs. Dear God, thank You that You care about everything about me. By the way, I’ve been meaning to talk to You about... In Your Name, Amen Happy New Year, Randy

Tuesday's Devo (this has been making its rounds) Breaking News: 4 Days ago we celebrated Christmas. In 4 days we welcome a New Year. I'm not taking anything with me in 2021.... If you owe me, don't worry about it. If you wronged me, it's all good. If you're beefing with me, you won because life is too short to worry about it. If we aren't speaking, it's cool. Be safe and I still wish you many blessings. If you're talking about me, THANKS for the advertisement--it's okay. If you don't deal with me, you're free to continue not to. If you don't like me, give me a chance, or maybe not. If you left me hanging, don't pick me up. It's okay. If you feel I wronged you, I apologize. Life is too short for all this "extra" unnecessary drama. No one promised tomorrow. I'm focused on the future. Thanking God for where He brought me from and where He's taking me. I will continue to ask God that you and those you love be wrapped in His protection I'm believing that 2021 will be really good to me, and I'm going to be really good to it...living my life with love and joy. Dear Lord, help me to smash the past and savor the future. In Your forgiving name, Amen Love in Christ, Randy
