Ozark West Elementary School K-5

West students have earned 500 Tiger Tickets and to celebrate we are having Super Bowl Spirit Week starting Monday!

School is cancelled for Wednesday, January 27 due to forecasted winter weather and lack of county roads being treated before our morning bus commute. There will be no online learning today.

5th grade students have been learning how to plot data on a line plot. They also have learned how to analyze data and figure the mean (average), median, mode, and range for the given data. Students gathered data for how many favorite pizza toppings within each 5th grade math class and then used that data to make a line plot using unifix cubes.

Fourth graders are learning about kinetic and potential energy in science lab this week.

In third grade, we had several debates to help us practice persuasive language, reasons and evidence to support our opinions in preparation for our persuasive writing pieces next week.
