To everyone who is for shutdown the keystone XL pipeline... You make these posts while typing on a cell phone, and you drive a car to work, you use plastic products on a daily basis. Maybe we wouldn’t need oil like we do, if people like you weren’t such large consumers of petroleum based products. You complain about the product, and how it’s transported, but your not willing to cut back on these products because it’s such an inconvenience. Do you like driving your car to work...? Do you like using your cell phone? Do you like drinking milk? Do you like putting shitty plastic products on your gun? Do you like playing your PS5 on your flat screen TV? Do you like windmills? Do you like electric cars? Do you like cooking your food with propane? Do you like heating your house? Do you like eating Chinese food? If you said yes to any of these, you can thank an oilfield worker and a pipeliner. I pipelined for almost 15 years. The last pipeline job I worked, I was gone for 10 starlight months, I worked 70-90 hours 6 days a week, I got to see my wife, and kids twice in those 10 months. That job is a huge sacrifice, so people like you can drive cars, grill out, heat your homes, and have plastic products. The money I made, and saved made it possible for me to start this company. You’re freaking welcome! And why the hell would we buy oil from another country when we have oil right here in America?? I hate to get all political, but... With this current stimulus bill, the government will be giving a concert venue in DC $40 million, on top of the $25 million they received in March’s stimulus bill. The Kennedy performing arts Center has received a stimulus of 65 million dollars in 2020 alone, while laying off the majority of their staff. $600 to the people! Most Americans who are struggling right now, $600 won’t even pay bills that are past due, much less current bills. $...600 won’t even pay a persons mortgage, or rent for a month. But they’ll give a concert venue 65 million dollars, $700m for Sudan, $1B to Egypt, and 10 million dollars for Gender studies in Pakistan. If you think the government gives a dang about you, you’re sadly mistaken. Kinda makes you wonder how a senator, or house member with a $175k a year salary can have a net worth of $55 million in a single election term. Now you know what it means when people refer a bill as nothing but fat. And if you’re a fan of Nancy Pelosi, let’s recap. President Trump said he’d sign a stimulus bill that gives each American $1,200, but that’s the only thing that could be on the bill. She, and other democrats denied that one. But why you may ask? Wouldn’t that be extremely beneficial for struggling Americans during these lockdowns, amidst this pandemic? Yes it would, but it wouldn’t profit her, or any other politicians. I hope this is a wake call to a lot of Americans! These politicians do not have YOUR best interest in mind! I don’t consider myself a political analyst in anyway. I’m just a common sensed American, who happens to be a small business owner, and has the ability to see, and call out the bull crap politics in our country. Feel free to share this post.
