Lake report for Oct 8 2020 Elevation 704.26 0 discharge 69 degree's Light stain... Shad are starting the fall movement into the coves fish will fallow them as the water cools . With the shorter days we have shortening hour at the marina so call ahead 6604382939 minnows will still be available at all times til we close for the season. Somewhere around the 1st of November weather dependent White bass has been good around the kk island flats 8 to 13 foot of water using spoons and rooster tails, trolling a chrome crankbait, very few hybrids to report Walleye has been a bit slow trolling flickershad in 8 to12 foot around kk island. Also main lake points near the channel drops with a big crankbait Bass spinnerbait bite is picking up in the mouths of small pocket coves top water early and late rattle traps and small crankbait s on secondary points Crappie are starting to move from summer pattern drifting bluffs down about 15 foot with minnows. Or the standing timber flats 12 to 16 foot of water near the bottom with minnows as usual the brush piles are good and spider rigging the edges of the creek channels Catfish have continued to do well jugs on the flats using cut bait. And trout lines in the mouth of the big cove s around 12 foot down some cats are starting to move into the larger coves fallowing the shad this should increase as the water cools With the lake this low be careful out there and is also a great time to find some new trees that have been hiding and mark the on your map for future trips. It looks like a nice weekend to get out and enjoy the lake before fall takes back over the trees are starting to turn color in places . Til next time bass wishes!

Fishing Report from Osage Bluff Marina 9/24/20 Well it is officially autumn. With the weather that we are having it is a perfect start to it. Cool mornings and perfect temps during the day with a warm up coming this weekend it's going to be great. We could use a little rain in the lakes area but sometimes you want to be careful what you wish for. The lake is still about a foot and a half low but the water clarity is perfect. Fishing Report from Osage Bluff Marina 9/17/20 Another beautiful week in the Ozarks. No rain in the forecast and the temps are perfect for being outdoors. It's still a little warm for me to be up in a tree stand archery hunting but it's perfect for sitting in a boat catching fish.
