Earlier this summer we had the sweetest, most polite, set of Twins EVER.......show up to celebrate their Sweet 16 at the Cottage! They brought 14 of their best friends, along with their parents (of course ) to enjoy a fun week. The cottage is a great place to gather with a group! Lots of room to spread out & distance. We have 5 different patio/deck areas all attached to the main house. Plus Jacobs Cove is in the back yard so all you have to do is grab a floaty & go! We can help with the special occasions too.....all you have to do is ask!

Every now and then you run into a little something something that you fall in love with!. Several years ago I stumbled onto a colorful line of flour sack dish towels while in #KC & bought lots of them as gifts! Low and behold I got a call a few weeks ago from someone wanting to rent a cottage and realized it was THE artist of my favorite little Kansas City line! #PaintingPetunias Needless to say by the end of our conversation I had ordered a ridiculous amount of her #flo...ursack towels for our cottages! The best part about it was she hand-delivered and I got to hang out with this super cool artist for a bit! We have had a HUGE response to our Homemade Disinfecting Wipes. A friend and I made these early on when the virus started and have a container in each cottage for your use. I have refilled and refilled and sent out the recipe numerous times! They leave your hands, and space smelling so amazing. Our recipe uses rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, tea tree, clove & cinnamon!

We are ALL ABOUT special occasions and love when you choose to stay with us to celebrate that Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding or whatever it may be. We want to help in making it extra special so please let us know in advance so we can do our part!

Well I just realized that I never posted the completed pictures of the covered bar at the cottage....... or as our guests have labeled it....the Tiki Bar! This was a fun project and many thanks to so many of our guests that sent tags from the places they have journeyed from! We have had guests from almost every state and a few from far, far away like England and Australia! This is one of the spots you can hang out if it is raining or if the kids are making s’mores by the Bon fire! Stay tuned for more fun projects using all of the other tags we were sent! We hope all of you had a safe and memorable 4th of July celebration! . Ours was one that will never be forgotten for sure. We will have trekked across the Great USA wearing a mask, traveling over 3300 miles to welcome our first Grand into this crazy world! We couldn’t be happier and look forward to lots of Table Rock Lake time with this precious little fella!
