Today's recipe is for a fresh Insalata Caprese Salad. Tomatoes are coming in strong this time of year and what's better than a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad., especially when the tomatoes are freshly picked from your garden. You can substitute cherry tomatoes or even the yellow reduced acid one if you like. Cut homegrown tomatoes into thin slices and place on plate. Add some fresh mozzarella pieces and salt to taste. Drizzle our House Special Extra Virgin Olive Oil(parmesan, garlic, rosemary and red pepper) over mozzarella and tomatoes and fresh cut basil. To kick it up a notch, drizzle our Traditional Balsamic vinegar over salad and sprinkle with some finely grated parmesan cheese and skip the salt.

I'd like to start getting some recipes listed here for everyone to share. One of my kids favorites is made with our White Strawberry Peach balsamic vinegar. With this being peach season, it's the perfect time for this recipe. Cut ripe peaches in half and remove seed. Place peach halves cut side down on medium heat grill and cook with lid closed for about 4 minutes or until peach is warmed and has some light grill marks. Drizzle warm peach halves with our White Strawberry Peach balsamic vinegar and serve as a side dish or add a dollop of whip cream and serve as a desert. Yes, it's that good to be listed as the 1st recipe posted.
