The 2020 CARES Act increased the adjusted gross income limitation for cash donations to public charities from 60% to 100% for 2020 with an exclusion of gifts to donor-advised funds. This means that these cash gifts will net a greater deduction on your tax return this year than in past years! Visit 2020Census.gov to respond today. Phone response will be available for its regularly scheduled time on October 15, 2020. Paper responses must be postmarked by October 15, 2020.
