Here are the Christmas ornaments that my nephew Todd made. Boone Chapter #290 will be selling them for $10.00 each plus $2 for postage and handling. Profits will be split between Masonic Youth organizations and helping Boone Chapter sew weighted blankets for the Thompson Center. Send me a message with your orders.
Don’t forget our special Christmas meeting tonight. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater, bring your cookies to share, (baggies with 2 cookies each), and come ready to help decorate Christmas cards for our inactive members. Come at 6pm ready to party. Regular meeting at 7. Oh, don’t forget a $5 secret Santa gift to exchange. It’s going to be fun, you won’t want to miss. Don’t forget your masks. But if you do, We will have Christmas masks available for sale for $5 each. Proceeds go to Boone Chapter #290.
If any of Boone’s members need face masks, Liz and I are making them. We’ve been sending them to clinics but I was thinking we should make sure our members are taken care of as well. So if you need a mask for yourself, let us know. We are out of elastic so we’ve been using straps to tie. If anyone has any 1/4 inch elastic or thinner, we could use it.
From Sister Nancy Lane PGM: With the ‘State of Emergency’ issued by the Governor, as well as a ruling by the WGM, and after due consideration and consulting with other line officers, Victoria Chapter #14 will NOT meet Tuesday, March 24, due to lack of quorum. Our Friendship Night scheduled for this night will be rescheduled at a later date. Bev Steelman, WM... Victoria Chapter #14 See more
We ‘finished’ seven weighted blankets today thanks to all those who helped. Crystal Henley came early and left early to get ready for her son’s 6th birthday party.
Tomorrow is our weighted blankets work day. Bring your sewing machine if you’ve got them, if not just bring yourself and we’ll put you to work stuffing the blankets. No experience needed. We will provide on job training. Starting at 9 am at the lodgehall but come anytime you can in the morning. We will break for lunch. Brothers and Sisters welcome as well as any friends, neighbors or relatives you can rope into helping.
