December 4th is Wildlife Conservation Day. Today is the day that we come together to acknowledge the needs of conservation and how we as humans can make an impact in not only the lives of animals, but the survival of their species. In a perfect world we would hope this wouldn't be an issue, but unfortunately that is not the case. We need to come together for a cause. That being said. What animal conservation projects and species are you all most passionate about? Tell me y...our story on why you have that passion, how you would like to or how you have made an impact. "Animal conservation is my life and I do everything I can do make a difference. In 2018 I helped a previous boss of mine meet his $10,000 pledge towards the International Elephant Foundation for Sumatran tiger conservation. Now in 2019 I spent the month of July doing reef conservation research in Northern Queensland, Australia as well as conduct behavioral studies at sea turtle rehabilitation centers. With $1,500-$2000 of my personal money directly going towards reef and sea turtle conservation. As well as spending 2 weeks of August volunteering at the late Steve Irwins Australia Zoo working with animal caretakers in the zoo and wildlife hospital. I will be returning in February to additionally help aid koala and other native wildlife effected by the raging fires in Queensland. My hope is to inspire others by letting them see how much a single individual can do to help with wildlife conservation and help them take the first step to make an impact. I am just one person. My boss was a single person.
