Oceano Bistro is seeking a dedicated, confident, and reliable FOH manager to join our team! Duties Include - but are not limited to: Seating Guests - Receiving - Scheduling - Training Staff - Helping with Inventory... Oceano offers an upscale dining experience featuring the freshest seafood. Our ideal candidate must be adaptable, able to handle difficult situations, highly organized, able to delegate tasks, be computer literate, able to take constructive criticism, work varied hours, be able to stand for long periods of time, detail oriented and able to make logical decisions. Managers are responsible for opening/closing the establishment on a daily basis. Managers need to be able to coach staff through the day and help develop a staff that not only succeeds daily, but also grows personally and professionally. As Oceano is open 7 days a week and almost 365 day a year, this position requires you to work WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS. We are a Drug Free Workplace and may conduct random drug tests. Managers must have experience in the industry. We expect managers to know all steps of service, functions, and operations of the building. Our managers strive for excellence in our field, not only personally, but in a team atmosphere. Fine dining experience in the restaurant industry is appreciated but not required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to: Develop positive working relationships with all employees and to work as part of the team Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, other employees, and management Have a basic understanding of wine and seafood Maintain a professional appearance at all times Follow all rules and regulations set forth by the ownership and management teams Servers are responsible for coordinating and managing their assigned stations. Servers are responsible for providing a superior guest experience they won't forget. Our servers will deliver service and provide a great guest experience that not only meets, but also exceeds the guest’s expectations. In doing so, meeting and upholding the standards set forth by the management and ownership teams

We will be open: New Years Eve from 11am to 9pm. New Years Day from 3pm to 8pm. We will continue with our modified hours of 11am-8pm 7 days a week until we learn more about the county's restrictions for the New Year.... Thank you for your continued support!
