Today, Lucie Crittenden worked on this coloring page from our Intergenerational Sunday School class on the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:9 this week) and then added words from our worship service, based around Amos 5:14-24, making her own little bible art word salad. #worshipathome

Today was a perfect day to be church together. We packed supplies to share with our neighbors and reminded one another that we will wait and we will work together as community!

Friends. If your feeling anxious or worried about tomorrow, a few ideas: 1. Vote. You do have a voice in this. Remember that. 2. Breathe. Intentionally. Do it again. 3. Pray. With whatever is on your heart or weighing down your shoulders. In whispers or in shouts. Pray it hard. 4. Walk or ride around the block. Move your body. Change your view. Move away from the newsfeed. Shift your environment. Even if just for a moment. ... 5. Drink water. It’s just good to hydrate. In general. For life and stuff. 6. Watch one of the many zoom vigils or prayers services that many of our siblings in faith are hosting this week. (We’ll post some links in the comments.) 7. Reach out to a friend. Tell bad Halloween jokes and laugh. Like, silly giggling laughs. 8. Make sure your neighbors voted. (See that voice comment in #1) 9. Make a plan to come and join us for a pop-up mission project on Wednesday afternoon. There will be a Wednesday, and we’ll spend some of it together. 10. Stop doom scrolling and watch puppy videos instead. 11. Pray again. For God’s wisdom, strength, and confidence. 12. Pray again again. Keep praying. Drink some water. Have a quick dance party in your living room. And pray again. Again. And again. See more
