Cannot rule out a few snowflakes...but it's looking like the precipitation moving in from Oklahoma will be largely rain along I-44 through late evening. Temperatures have dropped to near freezing but warmer ground temperatures above freezing will minimize the impact. Concern remains farther north where freezing drizzle will be likely.

Several rounds of rain will be possible this week, starting late tonight and continuing through Thursday. An inch and a half to 3 inches possible through Wednesday, with additional rainfall possible Wednesday night into Thursday. While widespread flooding is not expected due to the ongoing drought conditions, some localized flooding will be possible if heavy rain can train over the same locations.
