Mason made 'Bubba's chicken' tonight! His favorite rub put on an organic free range bird....all the YUM! . The rub consists of: -1/2 a stick of melted butter... -1.5 Tbs garlic powder -1.5 Tbs paprika -1 Tbs cumin -1 Tbs onion powder -1 Tbs chili powder -1 Tbs salt 1/2 Tbs sweetener (I prefer a stevia) -Cayenne (optional, to taste) . You can put this on any cut of chicken and bake at 375 until internal temp reaches 165. . Quick. Simple. Super juicy & flavorful!!! How cute is this little mason jar side salad I had for lunch?! I was today years old when I made my first mason jar salad & I'm SO disappointed I didn't do it sooner! Hello, quick & easy!!! . Have you ever tried this trick before???... Layer your salad jar with the following basic guidelines: 1. Start with putting your dressing in the bottom of the jar. 2. Put your veggies/nuts/toppings in next to sit in the dressing (crunchy stuff goes in first). 3. Next you'll add in cheese or soft toppings. 4. Finish off by stuffing the jar with your greens of choice! 5. Store in the fridge until you're ready to dump it all on a plate & enjoy! . Made a double batch of oatmeal this morning for an easy breakfast later this week. my #1 meal prep hack - double the recipe so you have easy leftovers to grab & go. As a working Mama of 5 (still nursing our baby) -- my life revolves around ease & convenience in this current season. I try not to compromise the quality of food we're eating for the sake of it being easy though! . This oatmeal is a great way to do that! ... Single serving recipe: 1/2 C oats (I use @bobsredmill) 1 C water 1/4 tsp salt Boil water & salt then add oats. Cook for 10 min, stirring frequently. Turn off heat and add whatever your little heart desires (I suggest at least protein & fat). This batches add-ins include: 1 scoop collagen 1/2 C raw milk (I like creamy oats) 1/4 C hemp seeds 1/4 C chopped nuts - almonds & hazelnuts 2 Tbs raisins Generous sprinkle of mixed cinnamon & coconut sugar Drizzle of pure maple syrup . Mom Tip: I'm going to politely & bluntly tell you that you NEED to get a couple cans of 100% pumpkin to make these muffins for several reasons!!! . They are super simple to make. They are packed full of protein & healthy fats (avocado oil) to support my kiddos growing brains and bodies. Pumpkin is full of iron, zinc & fiber.... Pumpkin is highly nutrtious & rich in Vitamin C & A (beta carotene). . We may or may not have made these (per my kids request) 3 times since NYE when they were gone by 5 pm before Dad even got off work ....aaaaaand we're having them for breakfast in the morning! .
