A group of Toronto history museums are collaborating to launch a series of virtual projects created by Black, Indigenous, and artists of color called Awakenings, which will be produced and released over the next few years. The aim of the project is to address racism and a lack of diversity (especially that which is seen on screen), and bring Toronto’s history to life in a way that will spark conversation and new perspectives. https://www.cbc.ca//toronto-history-museums-awakenings-1.5
