Even with the Covid pandemic, our Lodge continues to donate clothing, hygiene items, and gift cards to support the residents at the Veteran's Hospital in Kansas City and Warrensburg. Members, Due to another member testing positive to COVID, the lodge is closed until further notice.
Ladies Night that was scheduled for Monday the 26th has been canceled.
ELKS Update: MUST READ!!! Members, Anyone the was at the lodge last night the 23rd, needs to be aware that a member of the lodge that was there has tested positive for COVID today. Attendees should monitor themselves for COVID symptoms and self quarantine for two weeks.... The lodge is closed today and tomorrow and the activities scheduled for tonight and tomorrow are canceled. We’ll keep you posted with any updates.
Members, Lady’s Night Starting Monday October 26th at 6:30pm Stephanie Kays and Marita Nolte will be teaching Lady Members and Member Spouses how to line dance and dance aerobics. Maria’s dance instructor will be hosting our first Lady’s Night to teach us how to properly warm up, cool down, and get moving! It’s $5 per person and all of the proceeds will go towards the Down Syndrome Guild.

Members, Anyone wishing to submit an article for the newsletter, please have them to Sandy [email protected] by Wednesday the 21st. Sunday the 18th , is the Veterans Committee breakfast from 7:30 10:00 and Kim Murch is making his world famous French toast. Come and enjoy a good breakfast and bring family And friends.... We are having initiations Sunday the 21st at 11:00. Come and meet the new members. There is a Governing Board meeting and a Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday the 21st starting at 6:00 downstairs of the lodge. All members are welcome to attend. Hamburgers, hot dogs, or brats are made to order at the lodge on Wednesday starting at 5:00. Friday’s TGIF is All You Can Eat Fish Fry with all the fixins. On the 24th there is a Halloween Masquerade Contest at 6:30. The contest will be judged based on the best decorated mask, and prices will be given for 1st, 2nd,and 3rd place winners. $25 drink chips for each winner. Be creative and have fun! There is also a bags tournament the night of the 24th at 6:30 with a $5 entry fee per person per game.
Murch's French Toast, sausage links and bacon, and eggs this coming Sunday, October 18, at the Gladstone Elks Lodge, 7:00-10:30. Donations for breakfast will go to offset expenses of the Veteran's Dinner in November. Initiation will follow at 11:00 for those who are interested in attending.
Members, Meatball sandwiches, chips, and cookies will be served during the 1st quarter of of today’s Chiefs game at noon. Hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips are served on Wednesday from 5:00 6:30.... There is a regular meeting Wednesday the 14th at 7:00. We hope to see you. Officers, this meeting is casual. TGIF is salad, double cheese burger casserole, and dessert. The veterans committee breakfast is Sunday the 18th from 7:00 10:00. We will be initiating two new members on Sunday the 18th at 11:00. Come and welcome them to the lodge.

Friday’s TGIF is chilly, and queso, and cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting. Saturday the 10th is bags tournament at 6:30 with a $5.00 entry fee per person per game.
