Northern Reynolds County Fire Protection District

NRCFPD personnel responded to a possible structure fire tonight to cover for a neighbor department. Luckily all it turned out to be was a disconnected flu pipe that put smoke into the house. We ventilated the house for owners, checked everything out and cleared scene. Great work by all crewmembers. Thank you to Ellington Volunteer Fire Department for being on standby for us.

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the West Peculiar Fire Protection District following the line of duty death of one of their firefighters this morning while working a house fire. Please keep the family of the firefighter, his peers, and all who was involved in your prayers.

The Northern Reynolds Co FPD along with Reynolds County Ambulance District, Reynolds County Sheriff Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Arch Air Medical Service responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment today on Hwy 49. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a job well done by all personnel on scene and the Reynolds County 911 Dispatch for coordinating the effort. It's amazing what all can be accomplished when everyone works well together and trust each other. Also I would like to thank the numerous other people on scene that helped and the motorist for understanding that we needed to close the highway to extricate patients safely. Again, thank you all.
