The main mission of Solace House is to provide hope for grievers, states Lisa Templeton-Farmer, Program Manager, That they see how they’re feeling is not how... they’re always going to feel. That it make take longer than they wanted, it may be harder than they want it to be, but there is hope for the future. They can find joy again. Solace House will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the Solace Sensation, a fund raiser where donors will experience Rio Carnival right here in Kansas City! Taking place on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at Boulevard Brewery, this night of celebration will feature the musical stylings of Drew Six, Magician Victor Le’Yon, caricature artists, carnival games, fabulous cuisine by YaYa’s, and John Holt as Master of Ceremonies!
