The 21st Century After School Program and America SCORES St. Louis invites you to attend an inspiring presentation by elementary Poet-Athletes at the 2013 Poetry Slam. Original work by poet-athletes from Barack Obama, Jefferson and Washington Elementary Schools will compete tonight at the Science Center Planetarium. Winners will have the opportunity to compete in a national contest which will be held at the Apollo Theater in New York City. ... Dannah Steele, Instructional Technology Coach, worked with students as they explored activities on I-Pads at the Back to School Rally. Normandy will be implementing the first phase of a 1 to 1 Technology Initiative when students return to class on Monday, August 19th.
