This past weekend Kayla Dooley, Olivia Dooley, and Emmaline Owen competed at the State Floriculture CDE contest where they placed 19th in state! We were also able to go axe throwing for some good team on ding and fun! Great job girls!

Today the FFA trap team competed at Linn Creek for the State shoot. Congratulations to Braydon for being high individual on the team! Great job boys!! A huge thank-to James Lee for being able to help be one of the coaches this year!

Today, the Floriculture team had the opportunity to visit Colonial Gardens in Blue Springs to help prepare for State Competition. They were given a special tour of the company by the Director of Operations, Tanner Jones. The girls were able to learn about and see so many gorgeous flowers/plants. We wish them the best next week as they head to State on the 24th!

I would like to send a huge thank you to the members and staff who volunteered to help sort fundraising today! Another big thank you goes to Clint Deitch and Crop Partners for bringing a fork lift over to unload a semi that showed up 2 hours early and my helpers weren’t there yet. I seriously couldn’t have made it through today without all of you! Everything went so smooth and we finished in record time. Students, if you have extra items or are missing anything at all, please let me know ASAP!

Fruit and Nut Sale items will be in this Thursday, December 10th. Once sorted, Mrs. Sarbaugh will contact the member saying theirs is ready to be picked up. If you are quarantined, you must have someone else pick it up for you. Also, please be sure to wear a mask when picking up items as well as delivering to your customers! Let Mrs. Sarbaugh know if you have any questions.

All drinks/food must be individually packaged. We also need parent volunteers to help chaperone and help with food/grilling the night of.
