The business was established as Noel's Hairstyling by Noel and Linda Floyd on July 1, 1982. The original location was 107 N. Lexington Street on the east side of the historic Harrisonville Square. The shop stayed in this location for 9 years until the building was sold in February of 1991. The business then moved to the Tri-Cor Professional Building located at 1604 East Elm Street. The shop would stay in this location for 11 years before moving in February of 2002. At this time Noel and Linda decided to purchase property and build a shop. The business was temporarily moved for 5 months during the building process. Noel's Barbering & Hair Design opened in its current location at 407 Galaxy Street on July 4, 2002.
