The likelihood of an average person contracting a zoonotic disease from a cat is low, but individuals with immature or weakened immune systems are more susceptible to these diseases. Let's talking about brushing your pet's TEETH Most owners look at us like we have two heads when we bring up how much tooth brushing would benefit their pet. The idea is foreign and a bit intimidating, but we are here to help you and your pet be successful for the long haul. The trick is starting slow to help get your pet used to having their face and mouths messed with. This can be accomplished by taking the process slowly and not even introducing a tooth brush until your ...pet is familiar with the tooth paste and your fingers in/around their mouth. We love puzzle toys, and your dog will too. Often recommended by dog behaviorists, these interactive dog toys are designed to help keep your dog busy while you’re away, stave off boredom, and stimulate their natural curiosity. While these toys offer much-needed mental stimulation for your pup, nothing can replace the value of engaging in interactive play with your dog (i.e. tug-of-war or fetch). But when you can’t be there, puzzle toys are a great supplement.

One of our favorite guys celebrated the big 2-0 this weekend! To celebrate, his mom threw him a hibachi pool party with all of his friends. Happy Birthday, Tigger!

As we head towards June, summer and the beastly heat that comes with this time of year is just around the corner. Heat stroke can be easily avoided as long as we make plans with our pets (and their safety) in mind. Have fun, but be safe this summer!
