I agree with most of these, except succulents are forever, quartz is still a great option, and those are tassles...that only our cat would appreciate

I recently completed a couple projects for a VERY cool Maplewood residence. Our new friends/clients reclaimed a ton of old-growth pine and fir from a commercial reno on The Landing. I used this century+ old lumber to clad a feature wall and add custom shelving to serve as a walk up bar. I then built a 6x8ft shelving unit that will showcase their magazine and vinyl collection. Very rusic, simple, yet LOTS of character.... It's a challenge, mentally more than anything, but I still love opportunities to switch between different styles. It keeps me on my toes and allows me to to work with more people and more unique spaces #NNMADE

The Clessidra Live Edge Walnut Dining Table The name translates to "hourglass" as all the components were designed around that shapely figure. ... The tabletop is made from two live edge slabs, one with a contour cut-out of the other. Three bow ties are embedded in each end to join the slabs and bridge the gaps. The base has a mid-century modern vibe inspired by G. Nakashima's earlier trestle tables. As usual, I used only salvaged Missouri Walnut, and gave it a silky smooth, non-toxic finish. #nnmade

Happy Friday! Today I'm wrapping up work on the Clessidra table, components are prepped to be glued, sanded, and finished.

A good day to make a mess. Two 10-ft walnut slabs hit my workbench this week. I'll start by cleaning them up, planing down the high spots, and just let them acclimate for about 10 days.
